[Da Nang City Police News] Grand opening of new sewing facility for disabled workers

In the morning of June 11th, The Association in support of Da Nang Province Handicapped and Orphans hosted a grand opening ceremony of new sewing facility for disabled workers. The facility was built based on the renovation of the old and downgraded kindergarten in Hoa Khanh Nam Commune (Lien Chieu District). With the total funding of 300 million Vietnamese Dong raised by benefactors (Viet Nam Hieu Hoc Group, Tho Hoa Textile-Garment Joint Stock Corporation, Dat Xanh Group. An Dien General Trading Company Limited, Tran Truong Company Limited, Dacotex Group and Saigon Sharing Group), the association built the facility with modern equipments and machineries that created jobs for disabled workers.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Chairman of The Association in support of Da Nang Province Handicapped and Orphans, all the workers were well trained in sewing techniques. Furthermore, many workers were sent to Lang Son Province for training. Our products are diversified in ranges of models, high-quality materials and reasonable prices, therefore they had gotten many good orders from Da Nang University of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology and other schools in Da Nang Province.
